Iced Cream Head

Heres something: People are always talking. Go out on the street, someone is gabbing into a cell phone. Inside, the television is incessantly blabbing along. In the car, the radio is chattering away. Listen.

So, amidst this flurry of words and letters misting about out heads like so many spores, I've decided to pluck random sentences out of the atmosphere and illustrate them in a non-traditional way throughout the entire month of February. So pull up your pneumatic chair and see how it turns out.

What a fabulous idea!! This is going to be so fantastic--this first one is brilliant! Restricting yourself to one frame puts so much Sutterian energy in the image and caption. The best artists are also smart cookies, you old cookie, you. Check out Cin's drawing today for another example of the cookie phenomenon ;D.

I thought it was Sutteresque.

So wait, they have flesh colored hands?

Laura: Thanks but you should thank yourself. It's way easier to do things when you have a starting point. I realized that during the month of October when I was doing Halloween comics and then you reminded me with your monthly topics.

jojojo: I believe it's Sutterine.

Jones: I know. I feel like such a hack! Flesh colors? I don;t know how the rest of the world DOES it!

This makes me chuckle and pee a little bit at the same time. HA! that guy is sooo quick to jump to conclusions. a lesson for the day!

wonderful idea and I look forward to seeing the spores that drop into your frames. -m

Whoohoo!
(sound of seat belt fastening)

this one is great, sutter

HOLD ON, everyone. What kind of clothes are they wearing?

These comics are hilarious, but I want to know where I can get the face-suits pictured above.

Brandon: they're actually just skin-gloves. Their bodies are orange and blue respectivly.

this is just brilliant, Sutter!

I love your Overheard series. Totally hillarious. I overheard last week on a plane...
a guy said:
"I have 42 first cousins"
I thought that was pretty crazy. I wrote it down in my journal but don't have the sense of humor to illustrate it. Oh well.
Your's are great!
