Blind Contour First Friday MARCH

I was going to draw myself because I know my tempature is probably pretty hot, and it took all I had to draw this stove top, but I am pretty psyched to see everyone elses HOT first friday.
-Niff

This is our fabulous stove. It cooks things with electricity! What an age we live in! It also proudly displays a red onion in a mesh bag above it! What an age!–Sutter
The other BCFF participants are up on the left under the side bar title BCFF March! For those of you not in the know, we have decided to make Blind Contour Friday a once-monthly affair. It will now be Blind Contour First Friday and happen only once a month. So, if you wish to participate, email us and we will put you on the reminder list for April.

Wow! I knew you would both do something very cool with this theme. I love electric stoves and you've stylized the coil hot plates perfectly. I much prefer and electric stove to a gas. Nice reflections iin the tea pots.

Electricity? Oh my!
These are excellent as always, and a great subject too. Love the reflections in your kettles.
I will be participating, but I only just got the email telling me the subject, so mine won't be up until later.
Hope you feel better soon Niff :)

Me, too, I was going to do stovetop! Hey, you have a tea kettle just like mine. You have a spoon holder just like mine. Are we triplets (if so, I came out of the womb a few decades early ;D.) All the detail in both drawings is excellent and puts lazy me to shame. LOVE the red, love the reflections of one coil in both teakettles. Niff, you got some great curlicues in.

Niff and Sutter, these are soooooo great, I love your teeny little stove and the touches of added color!

Dig that a lot, Niff!
I'll be even more impressed if you tell me the reflections were done before you were 'un'blinded...

Thanks all, it was all done completely blind, promis. However, you will have to also give credit to Sutter for my red hot burners, I was too sick to scan, and so I asked him to color mine.I told him I wanted the burners to be red, but he did all the work. Such a wonderful blog partner. =)

I love the glowing stove elements reflected in the chrome kettle in Niff's. Sutter's oven knobs are awesome.

Hey!!!I did my BCFF under the same "duress" (fever, 4th day of flu-hell, barely able)...and wound up with a similar approach (pot on stove). Hope you have a quick recovery, Niff! Of course...these are wonderful!

Fantastic! I'm not surprised that Sutter colored the elements red. Men seem to prefer red hot burners when they cook! This is so much fun - I'm delighted BCF is back and I like the new schedule.
